SUNDAY 21st SEPTEMBER 2014
CHIPPING NORTON, THE COTSWOLDS
was a great success.
Peta began the day by welcoming the members to her home for coffee & biscuits before introducing our friend and president
Tony gave a fascinating talk about his experiences in the recording industry and why the most expensive equipment isn't always the best. Tony's talk was recorded and has since been distributed to all members, particularly for those unable to attend on the day.
Following the talk (and another coffee!) we got down to discussing the way forward for UKARA. There were suggestions, questions and all round agreement that the basic format of UKARA was what we all wanted.
It was wonderful weather in the Cotswolds so a welcome walk in sunshine to a local hotel for a very sociable Sunday lunch rounded off a perfect inaugural meeting...except for a farewell coffee back at Peta's.
